01 The Short Version
czbz.ai is Caesar Sengupta's home for small products and experiments. Some of them are static pages. Some let you download an app. Some let you sign in with Google. This policy covers all of them, and says exactly which data each kind of thing touches. By using the site you agree to it; if you don't, closing the tab remains a fine option.
02 What We Collect, By What You Do
If you just visit. Vercel, our host, keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, browser). Google Analytics records page views and rough location, using its usual cookies. We look at totals, not at you.
If you download an app. The download pages for TabSwipe and VM File Viewer ask for your email address before the download starts. We keep that address, the app you downloaded and the time, so we can tell you about updates and new apps. We also log each download request (IP address, approximate country and city, browser, time). TabSwipe's update checker fetches updates the same way, so those show up in the log too.
If you sign in with Google. Products on czbz.ai share one Google sign-in. When you use it, Google sends us your email address, your name, your profile picture and a Google account identifier. The product you signed in to uses these to create and keep your account there. We never see your Google password. Details are in section 03.
If you write to us. We keep the email so we can reply.
We don't collect anything else on purpose. No shoe sizes, no opinions on hot dogs.
03 Sign in with Google
The Google sign-in on czbz.ai is used by Board of Advisors, by MathPlannerAI, and by the private admin area the site owner uses. We request only the basic profile scopes (your email address, name and picture). We do not ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or anything else in your Google account.
- We use the information Google sends to identify you, create your account in the product you signed in to, show your name and picture inside it, and contact you about that account.
- Because the products share one sign-in, signing in to a second product is faster. Each product keeps its own account records and its own data; we only link them by your email address and Google identifier, and only for the purposes above.
- We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed in section 05 who store it on our behalf.
- You can remove czbz.ai's access at any time from your Google account's third-party access page. That stops future sign-ins; to delete the account itself, see section 06.
Individual products may publish their own, more detailed privacy policy. Where they do, that policy governs data inside the product: for example, Board of Advisors has its own policy covering your boards and conversations.
04 Cookies, Analytics and Local Storage
- Google Analytics sets its cookies to count visits and see which pages people use. It is configured the standard way for Google Analytics 4. If you block analytics in your browser, the site works exactly the same.
- Sign-in cookies keep you signed in to a product after you have used Google sign-in. They are limited to that product and expire on their own.
- Local storage remembers your theme preference (dark, light or auto). It never leaves your device.
05 Third-Party Services
These services process data to make the site and its products work. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Vercel — hosting and server logs. Policy.
- Google — Sign in with Google, Google Analytics and Google Fonts. Policy.
- Supabase — accounts and databases for the products that have sign-in. Policy.
- Upstash — stores the download email list, download logs and sign-in logs. Policy.
- Unsplash — the landscape backgrounds on the home page. Policy.
We don't hand your data to anyone else. These are the stagehands; they're there because the show needs them.
06 Keeping It, and Getting Rid of It
Download emails stay on the list until you ask to be removed. Download and sign-in logs are kept for operational purposes and trimmed automatically. Product accounts exist until you delete them or ask us to. Analytics data is kept for the retention period Google Analytics applies by default.
To be removed from the email list, to delete an account, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@czbz.ai. We'll do it, and we'll tell you when it's done.
07 The AI Situation
There is a tremendous amount of AI involved in these projects. The code was written with AI. This policy was written with AI. Some products send what you type to AI models to do their job; when they do, their own policy says which ones.
The AI that built the site doesn't collect your data. Think of it as a very enthusiastic contractor who finished the house and left. The house doesn't watch you, although it does now count who walks in.
08 Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If a child under 13 is reading a privacy policy for fun, they probably have bigger things going on and we wish them well.
09 Changes to This Policy
We update this page when something changes. This version exists because something did: the site grew sign-in, analytics and downloads. Changes are reflected here with an updated date.
