01 The Short Version
By using this site, you agree to this privacy policy. If you don't agree, you're welcome to close this tab and go about your day. No hard feelings. We'll barely notice you were here — and that's kind of the whole point of this policy.
02 What We Collect
Almost nothing. Seriously. This is a static HTML site hosted on Vercel. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, and absolutely no one sitting in a dark room watching your mouse movements.
We don't collect your name, email, location, shoe size, astrological sign, or opinions on whether a hot dog is a sandwich. Your secrets are safe — mostly because we have no mechanism to learn them.
03 Third-Party Services
That said, this site does use a few third-party services that may have their own ideas about data:
- Vercel — hosts this site. They process standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, user agents). That's between you and Vercel's privacy policy.
- Unsplash — provides the pretty landscape backgrounds. When a background loads, a request goes to the Unsplash API. See Unsplash's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces. Google may log font requests. See Google's privacy policy.
We don't share data with these services on purpose. They just happen to be involved in making the site work. Think of them as the stagehands — they're there, but we didn't invite them to read your diary.
04 Local Storage
The site saves exactly one thing to your browser's local storage: your theme preference (dark, light, or auto). That's it. It never leaves your device. It's the digital equivalent of remembering which light switch you prefer.
05 The AI Situation
Let's address the elephant in the room: there is a tremendous amount of AI involved in these projects. The code was written with AI. This privacy policy was written with AI. The AI probably has opinions about this privacy policy.
However, the AI doesn't collect your data either. It helped build the site, not surveil it. Think of it as a very enthusiastic contractor who finished the house and left. The house doesn't watch you.
06 Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. But honestly, if a child under 13 is reading a privacy policy for fun, they probably have bigger things going on and we wish them well.
07 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if something changes — like if we accidentally start collecting data, or if the AI becomes sentient and develops its own privacy preferences. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
